Great pupusas revueltas! Great Jamaica! Great service. Nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. The price was good! 3 pupusas for 6€. I was hesitant to get the agua de Jamaica since a lot of places in Barcelona don’t make it good but the server allowed me to try it before I committed. Food came out promptly. Locale is clean and nicely decorated! Look forward to trying other foods!

Restaurante y pupuseria Pica-Pica stands out as a genuine taste of El Salvador right in the heart of Barcelona’s Nou Barris district. Nestled along Via Favencia, this unassuming spot offers a warm welcome and a true culinary journey into Salvadorean tradition. From the moment you step inside, the clean and thoughtfully decorated space sets the stage for an authentic dining experience.

The true highlight here is, without doubt, the pupusas. Their pupusas revueltas, a delicious blend of cheeses, beans, and pork, are a testament to the kitchen’s commitment to fresh, well-balanced flavors. At just 6 euros for three pupusas, the affordability matches the generous portions and hearty taste. This affordability paired with honest pricing makes it an accessible delight for many.

One must also mention their agua de Jamaica – a hibiscus flower drink that often falls short in many places around Barcelona. At Pica-Pica, the drink's vibrant, slightly tart sweetness is perfected enough to win over even the skeptics. The thoughtful gesture of allowing customers a pre-taste before ordering speaks volumes about the restaurant's confidence and commitment to quality service.

Beyond the food, the customer service fuels a welcoming atmosphere. The attentive staff provides prompt service without rushing, adding a personal touch to the meal. This warmth reinforces the restaurant's goal: delivering more than just a meal, but an experience that transports diners to Salvadoran culture.

For anyone eager to explore Salvadoran cuisine or just looking for a reliable, flavorful, and reasonably priced place to eat in Barcelona, Restaurante y pupuseria Pica-Pica is a top choice. It’s a place where tradition, taste, and community blend seamlessly—a rare gem for local and international palates alike.
